Three-dimensional simulation of 5.8 GHz magnetron
Three-dimensional simulation of the 16 vane magnetron is discussed.The mode separation of the magnetron is 28% between the operating π mode at 5.815 GHz and the adjacent mode at 7.44 GHz.The magnetron with the saturated output power of 5.7 kW and the efficiency of 65% is operated at the beam voltage of 10 kV, the anode current of 0.87 A when the external axial magnetic field of 0.3 T is applied.
