An Investigation Research on the Status of Urban Residents”psychological safety
The objective of current study is to explore the status of psychological safety of 224 urban residents by adopting a self-developed questionnaire with a high reliability and validity on urban residents” psychological safety.The results show that the total psychological safety of urban residents is in medium low level.There are significant difference among residents with different educated background and per capita monthly incomes of one household (F=4.192, F=4.545, p<0.05),the results show that people with high psychological security scores often have highly educated background or are from families with a high per capita monthly income.On the common sense of security, people with different educated background have shown significant differences (F =4.98, p < 0.01), the results show that people with bachelor”s degrees or higher qualifications score higher in common security tests than less-educated people(from senior middle school or community college); On the sense of determination, there are significant differences among different genders and families with different monthly incomes (F=11.28, F =7.75, p < 0.01), the results show that the determination of males is higher than females, people from families with a per capita monthly income of greater than 2000 RMB have more sense of determination than those which receive less than 2000 RMB; On the sense of quietude, there are significant differences among peoples with different educated background and families with different monthly incomes (F =4.67, p < 0.05, F =5.20, p < 0.01), the results show that people with bachelor”s degrees or higher qualifications score lower in the sense of quietude than less educated people, people from a family with more than 2000 RMB per capita monthly income can feel more quietude than those which receive less than 2000 RMB; There are significant differences among different ages (F=8.92, p<0.001)on normal physiological function.the results show that people who are younger than 40 have feel better on the normal physiological function than those who are older than 40.The conclusion is that psychological safety of urban residents was influenced by many factors, such as educated background, the per capita monthly income of one household, ages, etc.
