Preparation of Functionalized MWCNTs Tethered by Growing PAMAM Dendrimers

摘要：

　　Preparation of varied generations (G0.0~G8.0) of PAMAM dendrimers on the surface of MWCNTs (PAMAM@CNTs) was realized using a divergent method by repeating Michael addition of methyl acrylate to amino groups and amidation of terminal ester groups with ethylenediamine.The product at each stage was characterized by FT-IR,Raman,EA,TGA,1H-NMR,XPS,SEM and HRTEM and the results demonstrates that PAMAM dendrimers were successfully grafted on the surface of MWCNTs.
