Graphene/Polyaniline Nanocomposites for high-performance Supercapacitor electrodes in Potassium Hydroxide Electrolyte
Graphene/polyaniline(GPA) nanocomposites in a novel structure have been fabricated through in situpolymerization of aniline on the surfaces of graphene sheets. It was found that graphene and polyaniline formed auniform nanocomposite with the polyaniline absorbed on the graphene surface and filled between the graphene sheets. The GPA electrodes were prepared using a mechanical compressing technique, and then soaked in potassium hydroxideelectrolyte. The as-prepared electrodes showed a high specific capacitance of 541F/g was obtained at the scan rate of30mV/s with good cycling stability. In comparison with graphene, the nanocomposites exhibited high performance due toa better synergistic effect and keep the intrinsic structure and property of both graphene and polyaniline.
