Comparisons of series and parallel systems with random and non-random dependent components
The paper mainly studies stochastic comparisons of series and parallel systems with random N and non-random n components,and the components are independent identically distributions or dependent with an exchangeable copula function.We prove that,under some conditions on the expectation E(N) ? n,the reliability of series system with random N components is better than the non-random n in usual stochastic order.Analogously,the results are reversed for parallel systems with random N and non-random n components.
