Auxiliary target recognition method based on distance-time and bearing-time recorder information for sonar
During the implementation of sea test for sonar equipment, it is not easy for sonar console to recognize target as there exist many interference targets in the sea.An auxiliary target recognition method for sonar console is proposed.According to the forecast range of sonar and shipping route based on implementation plan of the sea test, the bearing-time recorder and distance-time recorder of the target with respect to sonar mother ship are calculated through computer simulation.When the sonar console is recognizing target, the distance and bearing information of the target can be found from the recorder based on the current test time.This may aid sonar operators to determine whether the given target or not.Simulation results show the validity of the method.
