Illumination time on medicinal plant Pelargonium volatile components effect

  In this work, the geranium leaves were as material, which was treated by different illumination time and the components were analyzed by Soxhlet extraction, gas chromatography mass spectrometry instrument.The results indicate that the compositions and contents of Pelargonium volatile substance are very different with variety illumination time.The types of volatile fraction treated by three extension illumination time were higher than the contrast, but the same component content with illumination time decreased.The effective components were 24, 22, and 16 by using 3 hours, 6 hours, and 9 hours illumination time, receptivity.Nine components were detected in contrast group, and four kinds of materials are same after four treatments.Meanwhile, the contents of these four kinds of substances in the contrast were higher than ones of the other three treatment.
