Construction of Journal Retraction Impact Factor
(0) Academic misconduct has been increasing all the times in past several decades, especially in the last decade, which has attracted more and more attention in academic communities.In order to reduce the impact, academic journals are gradually strengthening the processing to retract misconduct articles on time.In this paper, a journal Retraction Impact Factor (RIF) has been put forward to judge the negative impact of academic journals, based on the existed quantitative research results and the idea of Journal Impact Factor.Then, we calculated 18 journals” Retraction Impact Factor, respectively, by the data of retracted articles from Web of Science in 2011.Finally, the relationship between Journal Retraction Impact Factor and Journal Impact Factor has been discussed.We hope to attract both academic communities and public attention to the academic misconduct.
