Water Quality Simulation of Ashen River Branch of Songhua River Based on WASP

  This paper simulates the water quality of Ashen River, one branch of Songhua River in Heilongiiang Province, P.R China, using box-type water quality model—WASP/EUTRO, depending on water quality analysis to show the time and space distribution characteristics of Ashen River.The results indicate that the simulated and measured values of dissolved oxygen、 chemical oxygen demand and ammonia nitrogen match well.Nash efficiency coefficient (NES) is greater than 0.5, RSR is less than 0.7, and PBIAS ranges from-70% to 70%, reflecting the water quality change trend of Ashen River.
