Bringing Students from Class to Real Business World--The application of reality television live business show in services marketing class teaching

  In business class teaching, teachers always encounter a challenge that how to take students to real world business scenarios and link textbook concepts with frontline business practice.This paper offers an innovative teaching method to enliven the services marketing class through the usage of the ”The Apprentice” reality television live business show.The author exemplifies an episode on Los Angeles bus tour to demonstrate how to use this business show program in teaching ”Three-Stage Model of Service Consumption” concept in services marketing class.This new tool contributes to business class teaching by offering a new virtual pathway toward the frontline business stage; it opens a new window to teaching methods in business classes.
