The Effect of Mortality Salience of a Loved One (MSLO) on the Desire for Money
Unlike mortality salience of self (MSS) which increases the desire for money,mortality salience of a loved one (MSLO) was found having no impact on the desire.However,this effect of MSLO can be moderated by social support an individual gets from others were the loved one to die.Specifically,it has shown that lower social support from others can predict MSLO individual’s stronger desire for money
