Applied investigation into increase in pulverized coal volatile

  Properties such as calorific value,explosiveness and combustibility of pulverized coal for injection into the blast furnace in the production of WISCO were measured and in the mean time industrial trails were conducted.The theoretical and practical replacement ratio of PCI for the individual blast furnaces were computed based on the productive data and it was recognized whether the expected goals of coal injection had been reached by means of the comparison between the practical replacement ratios and the theoretical ones,providing theoretical guidance for the routine production of the blast furnaces.Furthermore,the functional relationships between the theoretical replacement ratio and the carbon/hydrogen contents and volatile matter content of pulverized coals were obtained in this paper.
