Baosteel No.3 BF has been running smoothly and stably for 18 years and became China ” s longest life blast furnace.It has created many advanced economical and technical indexes.Comprehensive longevity technology of design,operation and maintenance with its own characteristics came into being in the long run of research and practice.In oder to obtain stable and smooth operation and to prolong the campaign life,the following measures are taken,such as reasonable design of the furnace profile and the cooling system;strengthening raw material quality management and optimizing operating system;improving cooling intensity and water quality;adopting a variety of longevity maintenance measures to ensure the safety of the body and the hearth temperature.
