Solution and control of longitudinal crack of Mn13 in continuous casting

摘要：

　　The paper introduces the solutions to the longitudinal crack on surface of Mn13 slab during casting,among which superheat,cast speed,alignment of SEN,immersion depth of SEN were chosen according to solidification characteristic of Mn13.The improved process got several heats sequence casting done,increasing the yield of slab from 50% to 96%.
