Effect of annealing temperature of cold rolling on microstructure and drawability in Nb-containing ferritic stainless steel
The effect of annealing temperature after cold rolling on microstructure, texture and drawability of ferritic stainless steel is investigated in detail. The grain size increases substantially with increasing annealing temperature, from 26 μm at 850℃ to 48 μm at 1000℃.With the further increase of annealing temperature (1 050℃ ),the trend of grains growth is more evident, which illustrates the grain size sensitivity. After different annealing temperatures, all sheets are dominated by the γ-fiber texture with a very weak α-fiber texture. The intensity of recrystallization texture increases with the increase of annealing temperature. The strongest texture component is found to be deviated from <111 > axis.Note that a few Goss texture ” 110 ” < 001 > shows when the annealing temperature increases to 1 050℃.The r-value shows a peak at the annealing temperature 900℃ and 950℃.
