The CTOD evaluation on the fracture toughness of welded joint for submarine pipeline steel

　　The crack tip opening displacement( CTOD) fracture toughness evaluation test is very critical for thick steel,especially for submarine pipeline steel.Base on the CTOD fracture toughness test on base metal( BM) and weld metal( WM),the results show that :Baosteel have mastered the CTOD test method successfully,including material description and requirement of the consumer,specimen preparation,fatigue precracking,CTOD test procedure,CTOD test results,conclusions.Baosteel have the stable capacity to supplied a certain submarine pipeline.
