A Study on recruitment and Management of Life Insurance Agents in Mainland of China
Due to the factors like increase of labor costs and staggering of income of life insurance agents,etc.,recruitment and keeping of life insurance agents is even harder.Based on data from questionnaires about life insurance agents in mainland of China,this paper adopts the cross-tabulation analysis and Logistic regression model to analyze the factors which affects the income of life insurance agents.Results show that those older,having higher education,being housewife before life insurance agent career and beginning his/her life insurance agent career after getting married have better performance,while those who could not find a job elsewhere have comparatively worse performance.In order to improve recruitment and subsequent management,suggestions from this paper include focusing on female prospects of agents,helping highereducated agents to stay and regulating the behavior of agents to frequently switch their job among different life insurance companies.
