China Photovoltaic Industry development Status and prospects
This paper with the domestic and global growth of solar cells and modules reflects China ( ML ) PV industry development status and the position in the global PV industry,and from the view of global re-newable energy development roadmap and development strategy,discusses China PV industry development prospects.The solar cell and module production in China has ranked first in the world for 5 years since 2007.PV module shipment in China was 21GWp in 2011,toke more than 60% share of global,and with obvious cost-effective advantages and competitiveness; PV market growth rate of China in 2011was big,PV system installed capacity reached 2.7GWp,become the largest PV markets outside Europe,also be the third largest country of PV system installation.But compared with manufacturing industry,the total volume of PV market is still too small,the PV modules used in domestic only accounted for 12.5% of production.The over-reliance on world market is the main reason of Chinese PV industry suffered a great impact by international sovereign debt crisis since 2011.In addition to solar cells and PV modules,the other parts of PV industry chain,such as raw & auxiliary materials,equipment manufacturing etc.,also got full-scale development,which has played a great role for comprehensive development of PV industry in China,but compared with the international ad-vanced level,there is a considerable space and potential for promotions.
