Image Fusion Algorithm of Infrared and Visible Based on Stationary Wavelet Transform

  Combining with the specific characteristics of the infrared image and optical image,this paper proposes animage fusion algorithm between a pixel level fusion and characteristic level fusion——based on stationary wavelettransform of the infrared and visible image fusion algorithm.First target detection algorithm is introduced to theimage segmentation algorithm fusion process,outstanding characteristic of target,and then the important goal ininfrared image will be joined into the the optical image through the adaptive weighting algorithm,finally the resultsas image source will fuse with the original infrared image through wavelet transform secondary fusion.Theexperimental results show that the algorithm can effectively improve the quality of the image fusion,keeps thedetails information of optical image,and retained the target information of infrared image,to improve the fusionimage contrast,effectively reduce the difficulty of the scene interpretation.
