Preparation of a 2D resin based carbon/carbon composite with high thermal conductivity and high bend strength
Two 2D carbon/carbon composites were prepared using mesophase pitch carbon fibers as a filler as well as condensed polynuclear aromatic resin and polyimide resin as binders.The materials were formed by molding,curing,high-pressure impregna-tion/carbonization cycles and graphitization at 3100℃.The obtained samples have a high thermal conductivity of 318-324W/m.K and a high bend strength of 98-llOMPa.
