Chemical Synthesis of Graphene Frameworks Based on the Pyrolysis of Alcohol-Sodium System
Graphene frameworks (GFs) are synthesized by solvothermal and rapid pyrolysis processes based on n-propanol-sodi-um system without using any substrate or template. The evolution mechanism of the GFs was investigated.Under the catalysis of so-dium,the abundant carbon atoms produced by the decomposition of the solvothermal intermediate self-assemble to frameworks with the linkage of ether bond in the atmosphere of high temperature and pressure.Based on this understanding, the GFs were also suc-cessfully obtained using other alcohols including methanol, ethanol, butyl alcohol and butylene glycol as carbon source in the syn-thetic process.
