Construction of Cultural Soft Power in the Context of Cultural Contacts
Cultural soft power, by its very nature belongs to the category of cultural contacts.The present era is an era of global contacts, the process of globalization accelerates constantly, the scopes of contacts keep expanding and the fields of contacts continue to deepen between the different nationalities,communications and collisions between national cultures are exacerbated, each nation is facing the crises and challenges in developing national cultures, and this wakes up the cultural self-awareness and awareness of ”soft power”, then the construction of cultural soft power comes on the stage.It can be seen that cultural soft power is generated in the cultural contacts;therefore, the construction of cultural soft power can not leave the cultural contacts.The cultural contacts are the driving force of the formation and development of soft power, and the practical path of construction of cultural soft power.Therefore, we must proceed from the cultural contacts and set up the ”Two Wings” pattern of culture development, which not only pay attention to inheriting and carrying forward the traditional culture, but also learn and absorb the advanced foreign cultural achievements, to promote the construction of cultural soft power vigorously.
