International comparative perspectives on Educational Leadership:A Comparison on Leadership Qualities,Traits and Skills between China and America
This paper attempts to discuss the differences of educational leadership in China and the U.S by comparing the preferred leadership qualities, including leadership traits, skills and styles in China and America.Through the comparisons, the cultural impacts on the leadership will be found as a very significant factor;and some related analyses on cultural impact are provided to explain the differences to some extent.Moreover, the paper also identifies the significance of globalization impact on leadership, which makes the world begin to share some key leadership skills.The paper also offers a few suggestions for learning leadership across nations and cultures,and at the time of globalization.
