EST analysis of haemocytes and immune related genes screening from small abalone,Haliotis diversicolor injected by Vibrio parahaemolyticus
Based on our established haemocytes cDNA library of small abalone injected by Vibrio parahaemolyticus from Haliotis diversicolor, 4 758 expressed sequence taqs (ESTs) were sequenced.After bioinformatics analysis, we obtained 4 264 high quality ESTs which could assembly to 3 638 unique sequences including 484 contigs and 3 154 singlets and the redundancy rate was 14.68%.All 3 638 unique sequences were load to nn Blast2go, and we found 398 ESTs (10.9 %) that had homologous sequences from GenBank non-redundant protein database with BLAST analysis.Among these 398 ESTs, 340 ESTs could be classified in cellular components, biological processes and molecular functions with GO analysis.InterProScan annotation revealed that 950 sequences could be found homologous sequences, of which 71 sequences that mostly involved in metabolic pathways and oxidative phosphorylation.Meanwhile, we analyzed the homologous sequences and found that there were 35 sequences (8.8 %) related with immune defense.
