The uptake of fish farming organic waste on food availability for silver carp H.molitixs in freshwater polyculture ponds:stable isotopic analysis approach

摘要：

　　To evaluate the feasibility and capability of using filter-feeding fishes as biofilters, five mesocosm polyculture ecosystems with different quantitative proportions comprising grass carp(GC) and silver carp(SC) were developed.After 5 mo acclimation, samples of SC tissue, particulate organic matter (POM), fish feed and GC faeces were collected for measurements of carbon and nitrogen isotopic ratios.
