A Novel Direct Sinusoidal Input/Output AC-AC Converter for Inductive Coupled Power Transfer System

　　This paper proposes a novel direct AC-AC converter for inductive coupled power transfer (ICPT) system which takes 50Hz sinusoidal mains input and generates 50Hz sinusoidal mains output without requiring DC link in traditional systems.The converter in primary side of the system is controlled based on the energy injection control to produce sinusoidal track current envelope in primary resonant tank.The secondary pickup is based on the matrix converter whose switching status is given in this paper to produce low frequency (50Hz) AC output for the load.Preliminary simulation results have verified the operation of such a system.
