Ammonia volatilization from urea application influenced germination and early seedling growth of dry direct-seeding rice
Poor crop establishment associated with urea-induced ammonia volatilization inhibited the optimum plant growth of dry direct-seeded rice. The objective of this study was to examine the effect of ammonia volatilization from urea application on germination and early seedling growth of dry direct-seeding rice and the reduction by urease inhibitors.
