Thrombolysis improved one-year clinical outcome without increasing complications in Chinese with submassive pulmonary embolism
Objective To evaluate effects of thromblysis on long—term clinical outcome for the patients with submassive acute pulmonary embolism (PTE).Methods Total of 136 acute submissive PTE patients with RVD,or CTPA shown filling defect exist above the level of pulmonary subsegmant with elevated of TNl or BNP; with first episode in two weeks were consecutively recruited from Jan 2005 to Oct 2011 and were divided into two groups according to initial therapy:Thrombolysis group with recombinant tissue plasminogen activator (TT group,n=79) and anticoagulation group with heparin (AT group,n=57).Echocardiogram was performed at admission,24 hours,half year and one year respectively.CTPA was performed on admission,and with lung perfusion scan reexamined at 7 days,half year,and one year respectively.All data was analyzed by paired t test and Chi—square test.
