Prognostic Value of the Combination of cTnⅠ and N-Terminal Pro B-Type Natriuretic Peptide in Patients with Acute Chest pain Suspected Acute coronary Syndrome in Emergence Department
Background& Objective Chest pain is one of the most common causes of presentation to the emergency department.Classical considerations for risk stratification are History,ECG,Age and Risk factors.Recently, cardiac biomarkers, including Nterminal pro Btype natriuretic peptide (NTproBNP) and cardiac troponinI (TnI),have been associated with an adverse outcome in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS).Thus, this study was prospectively designed to examine whether the combination of cTnl,a marker for myocardial damage or necrosis, and NTproBNP.a marker for Left Ventricular overload or myocardial dysfunction, would effectively provide prognosis information in patients with chest pain suspected ACS.
