Pathology of Extracellular Protease of Stenotrophomonas Maltophilia Isolated from Channel Catfish to Mice

　　The extracellulat protease (ECPase) ofStenotrophomonas maltophilia was purified by DEAE-Sephadex A 50 and Sephadex G 200 and injected intraperitioneally to mice.The injected mice showed different lethal rate and their typical symptoms are as follows:The injected mice demonstrate tachypnea and downcast and have mucous stool on their anuses.The tested animals show visible lesions in livers,spleens,stomachs and intestines.It has serious gastroenteritis and flatulence.Mural stomach and intestines become thin with pallide-flavens mucus in it.The spleen is tumescent and hemorrhaging.The hepar is seriously tumid and had necrotic regions.The color of the kidney becomes light and the lung has no obvious change.The LD50 of the ECPase is 4.33ug/g.
