生态背景中的城市发展:生物多样性、栖息地碎片化和气候变化
The development and growth of cities is dependent upon the natural environment and the services it provides to human populations. An ecological approach to urban planning should optimize the function of urban ecosystems in order to maintain ecosystem services and the resulting sustainability of cities. Fragmentation of natural habitats and climate change can both have adverse effects on ecological sustainability. Here, we examine the influence of habitat fragmentation on communities of ground beetles in urban forest fragments.
