城市化、贵族化和人口动迁:结论之前的问题界定
In simple terms, gentrification and urban displacement can be seen as ‘natural” (caused by market forces) or as induced (caused by policy or oven actions). This paper addresses the particular case of what can be termed as natural gentrification and argues that the processes of urban displacement and gentrification are related and a natural outcome of the operation of a free (or substantially de-regulated) market for land coupled with rapid urban growth.
