ULH WDM Experiment over 412 km using Co-RFA and ROPA
Remote Optically Pumped Amplifier system has been widely used in ultra-long span optical transmission system.The paper introduces the 10×l0Gbit/s ROPA system transmission experiment over actual 412kin G.652D fiber.The system uses C band and the channel interval is 100GHz,adopting NRZ as the line code.The use of optical transmitter module with SBS suppression function effectively enhances the launched signal power.The code gain of UFEC is 8.6dB with the line rate of 10.7Gbit/s,Use of the DCF and TDC can precisely compensate line chromatic dispersion.The experimental results show that after the 412km transmission,OSNR of 10 channels are between 11dB and 13dB,flatness is 1.1dB,and the system runs error free for continuous 24 hours.
