Chaos Control in a Bertrand duopoly Model with Heterogeneous Players
In this paper,a nonlinear duopoly game based on Bertrand model with heterogeneous players is established.The two firms will choose naive and bounded rational strategies due to their positions in the market.Local stability of the Nash equilibrium points is analyzed.Numerical simulations show bifurcation and chaos in the system.Using phase space compression method,controlling of the chaotic model is implemented by setting boundaries of the system.
