I am a Gastroenterologist-I love my profession and it has served me well.Medical help (i.e.pain reliefphysical,mental and spiritual)offered with empathy results in the happiness of human beings at large.I have a conviction that we are not here on the planet randomly.We definitely have a purpose,a cause,behind our creation.However,many of us get lost in the mundane,existential routine for survival.Few of us are lucky,or perhaps unlucky,to have a forethought that makes us reflect on who we are,why we are,where we are,and where we are heading towards? I feel lucky to have met Professor Zhong Gao Wang who,I feel,has a purpose of helping others and relieving many people from suffering.
