Adsorption mechanism for aniline on the hypercrosslinked fiber
In this paper,novel adsorbent (ZMS-1 fiber),which has an excellent adsorption capacity for aniline,was prepared by sulfonation of the hypercrosslinked fiber,and was given a series of static adsorption tests for aniline.The results showed that the adsorption equilibrium data for aniline on the adsorbent can be well fitted by the Langrnuir model and the mechanism of the adsorption was found to be chemical adsorption.As the temperature increased,the adsorption capacity of the fiber further increased too.The kinetics of the adsorption can be well described by a second-order reaction model.The experimental data indicated that aniline can be absorbed very fast by the fiber at the beginning and the equilibrium would be approached in 30 minutes.
