Rainwater Quality Analysis and Treatment in Industrial Park Using Constructed Rapid Infiltration System

  Rainwater has been used in many countries as a way to solve the problem of water shortage.In China,it has been reported that there is large of scope for use rainwater directly or indirectly due to vast territory and plentiful rainfall.However,China is one of the countries which are urgently lack of water,especially per capita water consumption.To account for this issue,rainwater reuse is a promising alternative to complement water demand in locations such as industrial park.Because these environments has large roof,road surface and greenland areas to meet rainwater collection and installation of rainwater treatment and reuse systems.Furthermore,with expand production and environmental requirement,a lot of water needs to be consuming to satisfy these demands.The objectives of this research wereto assess rainwater quality in industrial park environment,study the performance of constructed rapid infiltration in the treatment of rainwater.The main conclusion drawn from the research is that the direct rainwater quality is 5~7 times than ruse stand,it needs further treatment.According to new build CRI system,the removal rate of COD and SS over 85%,NH4+N and TP over 60%.Effluent quality meets GB3838-2002 the Ⅲ class stand.
