Effects of 5F on cytotoxicity,apoptosis and cell cycle in human liver cancer cells
Objecive:To investigate the anticancer effect of ent-11 α-hydroxy-15-oxo-kaur-16-en-19-oic-acid (5F),a compound isolated from Pteris semipinnata L (PsL),in human liver cancer Hep3B cells.Methods:Hep3B cells were treated with 5F (0-80 μg/ml) for different time periods.Cytotoxicity was examined using a MTT method.Apoptosis was examined using Annexin V-EGFP staining and caspase-3 activity.Cell cycle was examined using propidium iodide staining.
