Boilover of Tanks-Cases, Causes, Characteristics, and Control

摘要：

　　Boilover is considered one of the most dangerous fires in large-scale tanks.Boilover fire almost always leads to financial losses in terms of damage to facilities and often causes serious injuries to personnel and fatalities.A review on boilover fire of tank is represented.Illustrative cases were listed across the world.The mechanisms of boilover and occurrence conditions were reviewed alongside the characteristics of flame and temperature during boilover process.The rest of the review is focused on prevention and protection measures available.
