Identification,Algicidal Activity and Process Study of a Novel Active Compound from Brevibacterium sp.BS01 to a HABs Causing Species-Alexandrium tamarense

　　The culture supematant of the marine algicidal actinomycete BS01 was able to kill dinoflagellate Alexandrium tamarense ATGD98-006.Dialysis experiment suggested that Brevibacterium sp.BS01 produced extracellular substances with molecular mass less than 500Da.To identify the active compound responsible for the growth inhibition ofA.tamarense from the strain BS01,the extract of the BS01 culture was separated by adsorption chromatography,and the targeted compound was identified by Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Time of Flight Mass Spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) analysis.
