A biodegrading phenanthrene and oxidizing arsenite bacterial consortium isolated from an aged coking plant site study
Multiple organic and inorganic contaminants is common but its remediation by microorganism is rarely reported.And the toxicity of arsenite is 100 times approximately than arsenate.Besides,As (Ⅴ) can be strongly adsorbed on the surface of particles such as iron oxide,aluminum oxide and clay minerals.So that arsenite-oxidization will contribute well to relieve the condition of arsenic contamination in environment.Besides,phenanthrene contains K-region and Bay-region which is the closest chemical structure of teratogenic,cancerigenic and mutagenicity,therefore become a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon pollution research modeled table content.
