Comparative Plamisdomics of Bacillus cereus group
As an important vessel of horizontal gene transfer, plasmid plays significant roles in the evolution of bacterial genome. Many bacterial strains contain more than one plasmid,so the coexisting mechanism and the relationships between plasmids and chromosomes are important issues for understanding the evolution and dynamics of the bacterial genomes. We focus on these topics by studying the plasmids and chromosomes from Bacillus cereus group because most strains of this group contain several plasmids and some plasmids of this group are crucial for strains”pathogenic and phenotypic features. We firstly studied the replicon of plasmid.
