The update of biodiesel production from microalgae

摘要：

　　Biodiesel from microalgal oils might be the most promising alternative to petroleum diesel used in compression-ignition engines worldwide owing to its potential of sustainability and high productivity.After the initiation three decades ago pushed by the energy crisis and marked with the Aquatic Species Program from the U.S.Department of Energy,significant progresses have been made in research and technological development into algal biodiesel.
