Design of Multi-function Remote Controller Based on Mobile Phone

  In order to solve the inconvenience and complexity brought by traditional remote controllcr with ”one to one” mode,we try to design a new kind of remote controller based on mobile phone which works on the ”one to many” mode to overcome these weaknesses.In our project,we develop a software on mobile phone to simulate many kinds of remote controller to realize a friendly user interface and emit Bluetooth signals to deliver various commands.These signals are received by a Bluetooth receiver based on the S3C2410 development platform and transformed into the infrared signals through the corresponding processing.It is these infrared signals that implement the functions of a variety of remote controllers.In this way,we realize the multi functional remote controller successfully.This design which is proved feasible through the detailed tests on the development platform has huge potential for application in the future.
