Brain Ageing and Elderly-Specific Psychosomatic Diseases
Psychosomatic diseases physical diseases that are thought to be caused,or made worse,by mental factors.For eldly population,a general recession occurs on variety of physiological functions in human body.Compared to young,the elderly have higher sensitiveity to particular social psychological factors and have special physical or psychological characteristics.Physical and emotional stress do damage to brain function and causing the elderly-specific a psychosomatic disease.In this paper,the common performance of psychosomatic diseases and neural mechanisms during the process of brain aging in elderly are briefly discussed.
