On Zhang Boduan and Wang Chongyang”s Inner-Alchemy of Destined-Nature Theory
This article focuses Zhang Boduan and Wang Chongyang on their Inner-Alchemy of Destined-Nature theory.Zhang holds that Destined (Ming) comes first of Nature (Xing) and Wang argues that Nature is more important than Destined.But they all concluded that in order to achieve the ultimate aim of religious practice,one should cultivate his Nature by reducing his desires and eliminating his sentiments.As a result,he can fulfill his destined and nature all of a sudden and transcend himself out of the three horizon of religion.
