Characterization of aromatic glycosides in the extract of Trollius chinensis Bunge by ultra performance liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization quadrupole time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry
Ultra performance liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization quadrupole time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC/ESI-Q-TOF MS/MS) was performed to investigate the fragmentation behaviors of flavone C-glycosides,which was successfully applied to characterize the flavone C-glycosides occurring in the extract of Trollius chinensis Bumge.Herein,main fragmentation pathways and key diagnostic fragment ions of flavone C-glycosides were systematically investigated and summarized to distinguish different type derivatives as well as to trace other analogs in this species,which can provide useful reference evidences for identification of other flavone C-glycosides in other species.
