Partial Isothermal Section of the Al-Ni-Zr Ternary System at 850℃ and 1050℃
Zr-based alloys have important applications in nuclear industry.In this paper,partial isothermal section of Zr-Ni-Al ternary phase diagram in the Ni-Zr rich side at 850 ℃ and 1050 ℃ has been studied by using alloying method.Firstly,fifty ternary alloys of different compositions were prepared by arc-melting.The starting materials includes Zr (99.99wt.%),Al (99.99wt.%) and Ni (99.9wt.%) particles.
