Thermodynamic assessment of the Ce-Si system

　　By means of CALPHAD (CALculation of PHAse Diagram) technique,the phase diagram and thermodynamic data of the Ce-Si system were critically assessed.The Ce-Si system contains four solution phases (liquid,body-centered cubic,face-centered cubic,and diamond) molded with Redlich-Kister equation and six intermetallic compounds Ce5Si3,Ce3Si2,Ce5Si4,CeSi,Ce3Si5 and CeSi2,which were all treated as stoichiometric compounds.A set of self-consistent thermodynamic parameters of the Ce-Si system was obtained.
