Proteomic analysis in resistant and susceptible ecotypes of maize infected with sugarcane mosaic virus reveals new insight into the mechanism of plant-virus interaction
Sugarcane mosaic virus (SCMV) is an important virus pathogen especially in maize production, causing serious losse(s) in grain and forage yield in susceptible cultivars. In order to identify SCMV resistance candidate proteins and obtain information about the molecular mechanisms involved in SCMV -plant interaction,we conducted a proteomic and phytohormone analysis of leaf samples ( ) from resistant and susceptible ecotypes of maize infected with SCMV.
